MJC Softball Battles it's way up to #16 in the State Rankings
Modesto joins the party at 16. The Pirates, preceded by the No. 15 Orange Coast Pirates, are 12-7-1, but most recently spun three-straight shutouts – two against Folsom Lake and one to beat No. 14 Sacramento City – in the last week of play. It netted 3CFCA Pitcher of the Week honors to Brooklyn Heffernan who tossed 21 innings of no-run ball, allowing just 13 total baserunners.
