Jesse Vazquez is entering his 10th season with the Pirates and 8th season as the Head Coach. Coach Vazquez finished 3^rd at the 2001 State Wrestling State Championships and was a State Champion for Modesto Junior College in 2002. While at Menlo College Coach Vazquez was an All-American at 184lbs and the Menlo College Wrestling team finished the season NAIA National runner-up in 2003. During Coach Vazquez tenure as Head Coach the Pirates have finished top 3 in the North Region and have had 3 state finalist. Vazquez was Coached by Lee Ehrler while at  Modesto Junior College and was his assistant for his first two seasons. Coach Vazquez graduated with his undergraduate degree from Menlo College in 2006 and from the United States Sports Academy where he earned a master's degree in 2010.
