MJC Women Take first place in the State Preview Tournament

Under windy and hilly conditions, Modesto took 1^st place out of 8 teams/Individuals from North and South colleges with a team score of 329.  Madison Blanc took individual honors with a 69, 3 strokes under par, one of the best scores in Pirates history.   Janea Caparros finished with a solid 83 and next was Shealyn Hanrahan with an 87 and rounding out the top Pirates scores was Isabelle Rodriguez with a 90.  This is sure to boost the Pirates confidence level when the State tournament comes around Novemeber 14-15.
