Stockton, CA: Game 1 MJC 4 - SJDC 12-The Pirates scored a single run in four straight innings but the only problem is that Delta College upped their run by scoring two in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd before the Pirates could hold them to a single run in the 4th. Emily Cabral (Millennium HS) started the game and gave up 15 hits and 10 runs before turning it over to Kara Pittel (Enochs HS) who allowed 2 runs to score in the bottom of the 6th and end the game by run rule. The Pirates tallied 12 hits in the game lead by Hailey Hunter (Lathrop HS) and Kiana Briseno (Manteca HS) and McKenna Daley (Ripon HS) all three went 2-3 in the game. Hunter, Briseno scored runs. Every player in the line up had at least one hit. Janelle Barrera (East Union HS) 1-4 R, Kalissa Martin (Manteca HS)1-3, Debbie Torres (Orestimba HS) 1-3, Nicole Chapman (Ripon Chr. HS) 1-3, and Jana Fontana (Beyer HS) 1-3. The Pirates committed only one error but left 6 runners on base.

Game 2: MJC 5 – SJDC 7  The Pirates held the lead into the bottom of the 5th inning as Hailey Hunter hit a double in the 3rd inning scoring 2 runs. Hunter went 1-3 with 2RBI's. Torres was 3-4 and scored a run and Chapman and Barrera were also 2-4 scoring 3 times between them. The Pirates totaled 12 hits to the Mustangs 10 but the Pirates were unable to score after the big inning.  Bethanie Thornberry pitched all 6 innings and had 2 walks (one intentional) and 10 hits. Daley and Martin also had hits in the game.
