Gino Marchetti (1948-49)

Gino Marchetti was one of the best linemen in MJC football history. He transferred from MJC to USF, where he was a part of the undefeated 1951 USF team. From there he moved on to a stellar 14-season NFL career, 13 of which were with the Baltimore Colts (1952-66). There he helped win two consecutive NFL Championships 1958-59, and was a nine-time All-Pro. He was named Top Defense End of NFL’s First 50 Years, by the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is a hall of fame member of the NFL, Bay Area Sports, and Italian-American Sports hall of fames.
