
Women's Water Polo Earn 2nd Place at Big 8 Tournament
The Pirates' women's water polo team had an impressive showing at the Big 8 conference championship tournament on November 3 and 4. In their initial match, they dominated ARC with a score of 18-1, securing a spot in the semifinal round the following day. On November 4th, The Pirates faced Delta in the semifinals, emerging victorious with a final score of 11-7 and earning a place in the championship game. Unfortunately, they faced a setback in the championship match against Sierra, losing 6-21 and ultimately securing the 2nd position in the conference tournament. This marked a significant achievement as it had been a considerable amount of time since the MJC women's water polo team had advanced to the championship game.

- Chloe Price: 4 goals
- Francesca Bruno: 3 goals

- Bridget Black: 1 goal
- Sophia Marine: 1 goal
In terms of goalkeepers' saves:
- Sofia Huetmaker made 33 saves.
- Sarah Gould made 32 saves.
