MJC Wrestlers finish 9th at State Tournament

The Pirates achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the 3C2A State Tournament, securing their second Top 10 finish in the last three seasons. Highlighting their success were several standout performances, including Demarcus Turner, who earned 3rd place in the 149lbs category from Grace Davis HS, and Isaac Romero-Martinez, also from Grace Davis HS, who took 3rd in the 165lbs division. Khalid Ghani from Pitman HS placed 8th in the 165lbs weight class, while Adrian Perez Pulido of Livingston HS finished 7th in the 184lbs category. Cody Ruiz from Los Banos HS rounded out the impressive results with a 6th place finish in the 285lbs division. Congratulations to all the athletes for their hard work and dedication!
