Bio

Coach Gutierrez is entering his 7th season with the men's team. He helped lead the men to a 13-3-5 record and a playoff berth in the 2013 season. Coach Gutierrez has also been an integral part on the women's soccer team; assisting in three playoff appearances. Coach Gutierrez is an MJC alumni and hopes to bring a strong sense of pride to the program. He was a former pirate soccer player, and also participated in wrestling and track. Coach Gutierrez is currently a graduate student, and looks forward to contributing his knowledge and strong work ethic to the men's and women's soccer programs. Gutierrez holds a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Masters degree in Sports Science. Three sport collegiate athlete and starter. (Soccer, track and field, and wrestling).  Attended MJC and then CSU Stanislaus. Coached over 6 state placers in track and field at MJC . Big 8 conference champions for men’s and women’s soccer teams at MJC. State final four participant/qualifier for MJC soccer. Been with MJC track and field since 2012 and MJC soccer since 2013.
