MJC Clinches Fourth Straight Valley Conference Championship

The Modesto Junior College Football (7-2,4-0) Team clinched their fourth straight Valley Conference Championship Saturday with a 35-7 victory over College of Sequoias. Offensively, the Pirates were led by Quarterback Luke Weaver (East Union), who was 15-21 for 302 yards and 2 TDs, and Joey Stout (Pitman), who had four catches for 152 yards and 2 TDs. Defensively, Kainoa Ontai (East Union) led the Pirates in tackles with six. Alijah Cota (Manteca) had five tackles for the Pirates. 

The Pirates will finish their regular season with a non-conference game at Foothill College on Saturday, November 23rd, at 1:00 p.m.
