Tom Mellis
Wasn’t an athlete at MJC, but became major contributor to MJC and local sports programs… Long and distinguished record in community service… Was a founder of both the SOS club and the California Relays… Was instrumental in bringing Giants and Yankees to town for World Series workout in ’62… Former president of Modesto Reds.
