Verl Lillywhite (1944-45)
Played five sports at MJC, but best known for his speed as a halfback-receiver on football team… All-state in ’44… Was quarterback, fullback and linebacker for three years at USC, All-Coast and honorable mention All-American… Played 1948-51 for San Francisco 49ers… Successful JC and prep coach in Southern California past 33 years.
