Reached JC tennis national singles semifinals in ’49, then won national title in ’50… All-conference in basketball and NorCal player of the year in ‘50… Went on to compete in basketball, tennis and rugby at Cal… Basketball captain, all-conference and team MVP for Golden Bears in ’52.
