Pancho Contreras (1952-54)
Twice won state singles championships and also won national JC title… At USC, won both NCAA singles and doubles titles, learning with fellow MJC alum Joaquin Reyes in doubles…. Later was Davis Cup team captain for Mexico (1956 to ‘66)… Ranked 12th in the world in ’57…
