MJC Women's Golf Team Wins California State Championship

MORRO BAY, CA:  MJC's Women's Golf team came back from 19 strokes in day one of the championships to win the California State Championship for the second year in a row.  This is the third state championship for head coach Milan Motroni in the past five seasons.  From the individual results, five Modesto golfers finished within one stroke of each other, truly a solid team effort with no weaknesses.  The 2022 Pirates won the Big 8 Conference, NorCal Regionals and the State Championship.

The top four teams from Northern California and the top four from Southern California competed at Morro Bay Golf Course over the two day championship on November 13-14.

The Modesto Junior College championship team is 100% comprised of local talent:
