Pirates win Grizzly Bowl!
MJC defeats DVC 36-12
2021 NORCAL GRIZZLY BOWL CHAMPS!
MJC Football finished the season 8-3 by defeating Diablo Valley College 36-14 in the Nor Cal Grizzly Bowl. Gino Campiotti (Manteca HS) was 13-26 for 229 yards, with 1 TD pass and 1 TD run. Anthony Frias (Turlock HS) led rushers with 86 yards on the ground and 2 scores. The Offensive MVP of the game was TE Holden Baldwin (Turlock HS) who had 3 catches for 52 yards. The Pirates had 4 interceptions on the day from D'Angelo Bellamy (Central Catholic HS), Danny Hernandez (Ripon HS), Zelmar Vedder (East Union HS) and Cam Snow (Oakdale HS). Bellamy also earned Defensive MVP honors.
