MJC Welcomes New Men's Basketball Coach Brice Fantazia

Modesto Junior College welcomes Brice Fantazia as the new Head Coach of Men's Basketball Program 

Modesto Junior College proudly announces the appointment of Brice Fantazia as the new head coach of the men's basketball program. Brice joins Modesto Junior College with an impressive player and coaching resume, having previously served as head coach at Modesto Christian High School where he led the Crusaders to 7 Conference Championships, 4 CIF D1 Section Championships and 4 CIF Open Division appearances. Brice is renowned for his strategic acumen, player development expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence both on and off the court. 

"I'd like to thank Athletic Director David Voortman for the opportunity to lead the MJC Basketball Program."  My family and I are thrilled to be joining the MJC family and are eager to make an impact in the community that my wife and I both grew up in.  We want to become an integral part of our men's basketball future and contribute to the success of the overall athletic department and institution.  I am committed to the development of our student-athletes both on and off the court.  I plan to hit the ground running and work extremely hard to make this community proud." 

Fantazia's hire is a significant part of Modesto Junior College's commitment to revitalizing the basketball program, the storied MJC Tournament (celebrated its 85th year), and the recruitment, retention and graduation of top student-athletes in Northern California. Brice will work tirelessly to recruit top talent, implement strategic game plans, and foster a culture of excellence that resonates throughout the entire program.
