Congratulations to two MJC Pirate freshman baseball players earning 1st Team All-Big 8 Honors.  

Kevin Duffy a starting pitcher from Beyer HS and Brandon Booz a Designated Hitter from Turlock HS, both earned 1st-Team All-Big 8 Conference honors at their respective positions.

Booz had the leading slugging percentage in the Big 8 Conference at .622 and finished second in home runs with 8.  Duffy recorded the second highest strikeout total in the conference and his 2.15 ERA was the lowest among pitchers with at least 10 games started.
